ASHLYNmichellePIERCE
Full Name: Ashlyn Michelle Pierce (Ash for short)
Face Claim: Haley Bennett
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Height: 5'11"
Appearance: Ashlyn is extremely tall for a girl, and she loves it. Being tall has always been an advantage for her so far, and she loves to emphasize it by wearing shoes with heels that bring her well above six feet tall. She always feels a sense of empowerment when she can tower over guys and have them feel intimidated by her. Despite her height, Ash is extremely skinny. She's also got muscles from doing a lot of horseback riding and running. She's got beautiful navy blue eyes, which look black from a distance because they're so dark. Ash doesn't really follow any stereotypical style of dress, and usually just wears whatever she thinks is cute and makes her look good. She wears a lot of black and a lot of dresses, and unless she's in riding boots, she's hardly ever seen without high heels on.
Personality: Ash is one of those people who can be pretty much summed up in two words: "too nice". After the disaster with her family, she often feels like every other person on this earth (with the exception of her sister, Colby) had a much better childhood than she did. This makes her angry quite a lot, and she has been known to have anger management issues, but she never physically takes it out on people. She's always extremely nice to people, and very caring, which comes from having to take care of both her little sister and her father when she was only fifteen.
Past: Ashlyn grew up on a small farm just outside of New York City. The farm only had a few horses on it, and Ash developed a love for them from an early age, and was a natural at horseback riding. When she was just four years old, her mother had a baby -- Colby, a little sister for Ash to play with. The two girls had a typical sibling relationship once Colby was old enough to play. They would play together for a while, but it would always end up in Colby screaming or crying because Ash had knocked over her sand castle or taken her doll or something of that sort.
Family life was good for the two girls until their mother was diagnosed with leukemia. Ash was ten at the time, and took the news pretty hard. The girls' father tried as hard as he could to help her through it, and both of the girls gave her as much TLC as they could, but it wasn't enough to save her. Five years later she died because of the cancer, and it hit the entire family hard. Ash spent most of her time away from home. She drank and smoked, trying hard to find a distraction from the horror that was her home life. But when she was home -- and sober -- Ashlyn and Colby developed an excellent relationship. They were each others best friend, and could tell each other everything and anything.
As hard as their mother's death hit the two girls, it hit their father even harder. He started to drink regularly, and continued in a downward spiral till it was obvious to even Colby's young eyes that he was an alcoholic. This made being at home even harder for the two girls. First they lost one parent, and then the second one acted like they didn't even exist, and didn't care about them. Ash became the mother figure of the household. She was the one that made sure their was a meal on the table when their needed to be one, she made sure that the bills were paid, that Colby got to school on time, and that their father didn't total the family's car on the rare occasion that he left the house.
Ash put up with this for three years before finally leaving. Soon after she turned eighteen and was a legal adult, Ash left for Manhattan. She lived in a small apartment in Manhattan for about a year before she began to travel. She took road trips with her friends, and just went about the entire country, doing her thing. That is, until she found Snowy Ridge Stables, and her passion for horses returned. She knew she'd be way too tall to apply for a job as a jockey, so now she's an exercise rider for both eventing horses and racehorses, and works in the stables
note;; i'm going to make colby tomorrow probably, which is why i have so much about her in the history...
