AMARA-JAZMIN JAMES
Full Name: Amara-Jazmin James
Face Claim: Jessica Lowndes
Age: 18
Gender: female
Height: 5'5"
Appearance: AJ is five feet, three inches tall, and thin as a rail. She has icy blue eyes and naturally dark slightly wavy hair. Her bangs are swept to the right, and make just the right frame for her face. Although she's extremely thin, AJ is still muscular from the time she spends riding, working with horses, and in the barn. Her hands are slim and delicate, but she's self-concious about her skinny wrists and tends to cover them up with multitudes of bracelets. Her ears are pierced several times on each side, she has a small silver ring with crescent moon in her belly button, and she has snakebite piercings on her lip.
Personality: AJ is never one to give up a challenge, and always likes to come out on top. She's more like a stereotypical boy in the sense that she's extremely competitive, and likes to be better than people. She wouldn't shove it in someone's face that she's better than them, or make them feel bad about something she's slightly better at, but she's not going to deny that she's good at something. AJ is outgoing and can be loud and obnoxious sometimes, though she tries her hardest not to get on too many people's nerves. One of her major flaws is her violence issues. She finds it very hard to control her temper sometimes, and has ended up in various fights and brawls due to it. She's the kind of person who won't think twice about punching someone who's making her really angry, and usually suffers from the consequences.
Past: AJ started out her life in Manhattan, with both of her parents happily married with plenty of money. Her mother and father both had very high-income jobs which required much of their time, and spent so much time traveling/at work, they grew apart. They divorced when AJ was 11, and for a short time, she lived the life of an extremely spoiled child. Both of her parents felt bad for breaking the family apart - and shipping her between Washington D.C. and Manhattan every weekend - that they pampered her. She got away with everything and anything, and there was nothing her parents could do to stop her. A year later, AJ's parents were back together, in their original apartment in NYC that her mother had kept. She was pleased about this, as she loved it when her family was together. But only two years after her father's return to New York, they split up again. This time, it hit 15-year-old AJ hard. She went into a depression, and started cutting herself. When her mother noticed the scars and marks on her arms, she realized she had to stop before her mother sent her to therapy. Instead she tried bulimia. She needed something in her life that she could control, and she felt that was the way to do it. This went on for a year and a half before either of her parent's realized anything was happening. AJ made herself sick so often, she'd dropped 35 pounds since her eating disorder began. She was at a sickly 92 pounds when her parents sent her to a rehab center, where she lived for a year before doctors deemed her "healthy" again. But everyone knows, once you have an eating disorder, you never really recover. So what is there for AJ now? All she really cares about is the love for horses she developed over the past year.
