"Sam, why did you name that horse Ghost?" Allie asked from the stall over. "Cause I can. Soul...Ghost. Same thing." Sam hollered back. She shook her head and grabbed the colts halter off it's spoke. "She's crazy," Sam stage whispered to Ghost. Reaching for the little colt she scratched along his neck before quickly pulling the halter over his face and doing up the buckles. Leading the colt into the aisle way she waited for Allie to bring out her own weanling filly.
Ghost fought and tried to get away from Sam. "Oh, c'mon," Sam whined. "Don't tell me you're crazy too. I mean really? Can't I just have one sane horse?"
"Nope," Allie said leading out her liver chestnut filly, who was being very obedient. "Daylie, here is good. Ghost there, well, he was destined to be bad."
Sam stuck her tongue out. "Let's just go take these guys to play outside."
With that they led the foals out to the pastures. While some of the barn workers came to clean out the stalls and get them ready for the rest of the day.
