"Hey Dancer." Alexa said, coming up to the fillies stall. Dancer nickered happily, rubbing her forelock against Alexa's arm. "Silly girl. Let's get you cleaned up." Buckling on the fillies halter and snapping on the lead shank, Alexa hooked Dancer to a set of crossties. The pounding rain hammered against the roof, but to Alexa it was a peaceful sound. Some horses liked it as well, others like the babies were growing anxious. First going over the fillies soft grey coat with a rubber curry and a curry mit, then Alexa went back over the fillies coat with a soft and hard brush. Combed out her mane, hand picked the shavings out from her tail and picked out the fillies feet. "There we are Dancer. Your looking super beautiful now." Dancer bobbed her head and snorted a happy grunt. Snapping back on the lead shank and unsnapping the crossties, Alexa walked the filly around the outside of the barn, covered by a canopy before leading the filly back to her stall for the day.

"Good morning Dancer." Nicole said happily as she came down to the fillies stall. Dancer whinnied a happy greeting as she saw Nicole, thrusting her head over the stall door and bobbing her head eagerly. "Yeah thats my girl. You hungry?" Nicole asked and Dancer bobbed her head again. "I'll be right back." Going to the feed room, Nicole scooped out the fillies morning rations and adding the suppliments and nuturients the filly needed, carrying the feed back to the fillies stall and dumping it. While Dancer ate her breakfast eagerly, Nicole cleaned the fillies water buckets and refilled them with cool clean water. Once Dancer was done eating, Nicole led the thoroughbred out of her stall and into a set of crossties. "No paddocks today. It's raining pretty hard outside." Nicole told her as she went over Dancer's grey coat with a curry. After giving Dancer a thorough grooming and placing a light sheet over the fillies back and buckling the straps, Nicole quickly clean out the fillies stall before leading Dancer back into her stall for the night.

"Hey there you are." Chad said, walking down the barn aisle towards the girl and grey filly who stood patiently in crossties. Kara looked up from currying Dancer's belly, smiling brightly, straightening up and stepping forward to the man. "You were looking for me?" Kara asked, pleased. Chad returned the smile and nodded. "Yeah. Just wanted to say good bye before we left." Chad told her. "Going to see your cousins in California, right?" she asked, returning to grooming the filly. "Yeah. It will only be a week. I'll be back before you know it." he said nearly breathlessly. Laughing, Kara playfully rolled her eyes. "I'll be sure to enjoy a week of peace and no annoyance." Chad gave her a sad face. "Your not going to miss me?" he asked. Laughing some more, "I'll think about it." "That's not good enough." Chad said watching her for a moment before wrapping his arms tightly around her slim body, pulling her against his chest. "Don't do anything stupid while I'm gone. And please please be careful." Chad said, holding the girl closer. Returning the hug, Kara grinned. "Okay. Bring me back a souvenir." "I'll bring you back what ever you want." he promised, closing his eyes and taking in the moment.
