"Morning pretty girl." Alexa said, going to Jazz's stall next.
Jazz whinnied a happy greeting, waiting patiently as Alexa buckled on her halter and led the mare out of her stall over to a set of crossties.
"Don't you just love this weather?" Alexa asked but was pretty sure Jazz was actually enjoying it.
Grabbing the curry comb, Alexa went over the mares thick coat for a while before brushing her off, combing out her mane, hand picking the shavings from her tail and picking out her feet.
"Thats a good girl. Lets go for a quick walk." Alexa said, unsnapping the mare from the crossties and walking her outside the barn under the canopy for a while before leading the mare back into her stall for the day.

"The trailer is all set." Anthony called from outside the barn.
Jazz gently nuzzled Nicole's wrist as Nicole clipped on the lead shank. "It's okay Jazz. Paradise is a gentleman, he will take care of you." Nicole said, giving the mare a kiss on her soft muzzle.
"Everything is all good." Alexa said, stepping back after wrapping up the mares legs.
Nicole smiled, "thanks honey. Let's get her going before she really gets upset."
Smooching her lips, Nicole gave the lead line a gentle tug and Jazz followed. Soon they had the mare loaded into the trailer and were driving off to the breeding barns.
