Pulling into a empty parking space outside the local diner, Alexa killed the engine before climbing out of her sonata, locking the door behind her.
It was a different feeling out here in the town. Away from the horses, almost like being in a whole new world. But it was easy enough to admire the town, the area around it as the sun shone brightly overhead.
Opening the door to the diner, the sweet smell of food rushed out, a mouth watering sense. Looking around to find an empty table in the crowded room, Alexa found a nice little table in the far corner and quickly took the available seating.

Aislin pulled into the parking lot of the diner, and her truck roared to a halt in the closest parking space. Throwing open the door, she grabbed her wallet and jumped out of the truck, landing lightly on the balls of her feet. She slammed the door of the red truck closed behind her, and walked towards the diner. This was one of her favorite places to come, once the morning feeding and work outs had been done. Unfortunately she couldn't make it every day, and right now, she hadn't been to the Bay Diner in over a week.
As she opened the door of the diner, the smell of wonderful food came rushing towards. Aislin's mouth watered, and she let out a contented sigh. Like she did every time she came here, the first thing Aislin did was look around for familiar faces, as everyone from the barns around here came to this very place quite frequently. The only person she saw who she recognized was Alexa. "Alexa! Hey!" she called, walking towards the other girl. "How are things over at Breaking Dawn?" Aislin asked, stopping in front of Alexa's little corner booth. |

Sipping on the ice water the waitress just brought her, Alexa looked up when she heard a familiar voice.
Smiling, Alexa gently pushed the glass of water away and waved. "Hey Aislin, I haven't seen you in so long." Alexa said, getting up from her seat to give the girl a hug.
"Everything is going pretty good. How are your horses and such?" Alexa asked, sitting back down and gesturing for Aislin to join her.
