"Good morning Princess!"
Princess welcomed her best friend Nicole with a loud happy whinny before quickly tearing off a bite-full of hay then walked over to the stall door.
Nicole pressed her lips to Princess' fuzzy muzzle, making funny kissing noises as Princess grunted. "You need to be clipped." Nicole said, reaching up to scratch the mares forelock.
Grabbing the mares leather halter and lead shank, Nicole buckled the mares halter over her head and snapped the lead shank on, unlatched the oak door, sliding it to the side and lead Princess down the aisle.
Stopping at the first set of crossties, Nicole stopped the mare and hooked the crossties to her halter, unsnapping the lead shank. "Thats my good girl." Nicole said, patting the mares arched neck.
Grabbing the clipper box, Nicole plugged in a pair of clippers and expertly clipped the mares fuzzy hairy muzzle until it was soft and hairless. "You looks absolutely beautiful." Princess bobbed her head and nickered her agreement.
Putting away the clipping equipment, Nicole snapped the lead shank back on and led the mare off to the paddocks for the day.

"Hey Princess!" Nicole said happily, after cleaning up into dry clothes and cleaning off Maddie's tack.
Princess nickered happily, taking a last bite of her hay before going to the stall door to greet her friend.
Kissing the mares muzzle, Nicole rubbed Princess' face, reaching up to scratch behind her ears. "How's my sweet girl doing today?" Nicole asked, holding out a carrot chunk for the mare.
Princess snorted and gently lipped up the treat and happily crunched on it.
While Princess ate her treat, Nicole buckled on the mares halter and led her to a set of crossties.
Nicole spent a extra long time grooming Princess. Not that she needed it but it was something Nicole and Princess were both enjoying.
By the time Nicole was done, Princess' chestnut coat shined even under the dim lights in the barn. "Beautiful as always." Nicole said, wrapping her arms around the mares neck.
Nicole walked the mare around the barn for a while before leading her back to her stall for the night. "Bye Princess I'll see you later sweetie."

"Good morning Princess." Nicole said happily as she came down to the mares stall.
Princess whinnied a happy greeting as she saw Nicole, thrusting her head over the stall door and bobbing her head eagerly. "Yeah thats my girl. You hungry?" Nicole asked and Princess bobbed her head again. "I'll be right back."
Going to the feed room, Nicole scooped out the mares morning rations and adding the suppliments and nuturients the mare needed, carrying the feed back to the mares stall and dumping it.
While Princess ate her breakfast eagerly, Nicole cleaned the mares water buckets and refilled them with cool clean water.
Once Princess was done eating, Nicole led the thoroughbred out of her stall and into a set of crossties. "No paddocks today. It's raining pretty hard outside." Nicole told her as she went over Princess' chestnut coat with a curry.
After giving Princess a thorough grooming and placing a light sheet over the mares back and buckling the straps, Nicole quickly clean out the mares stall before leading Princess back into her stall for the night.
