"Morning Maddie." Nicole said happily, buckling on the fillies halter and leading the prancing filly to a set of crossties.
"I know you don't mind the rain so it's time for a little trail ride." Nicole said, quickly grooming the filly. Maddie pranced in place and snorted with excitment.
Once Maddie was groomed, Nicole wrapped the fillies legs up before throwing on a deep seat saddle and bridle. Stepping back Nicole grinned. "This is going to be fun." Maddie nickered her agreement and bobbed her head up and down.
Pulling the reins over the fillies head, Nicole led the eager filly out into the rain and over to the trails.

"Holy cow Maddie, your disgusting." Nicole said giggling.
To make things worse, Maddie shook, sending mud flying all around. "Your gross Maddie." Nicole said giggling, giving the filly a hug since she was already covered in mud as well.
Hooking Maddie to a set of crossties, Nicole untacked the filly, putting her tack in the tack room to clean later before taking the hose and sponging down the filly. "Theres so much mud. But you don't care, do you?" Nicole asked.
Maddie dropped her head and sighed happily. "Thought so."
For the next half hour, Nicole washed and sponged down the filly, then using the sweat scraper to rid most of the moisture before taking a couple of rags to go over Maddie's entire body, drying her off.
By the time Nicole was done grooming her, Maddie was still damp. "Your never gonna get dry." Nicole said, unsnapping her from the crossties and walked Maddie around under the canopy for a long time until Nicole was sure the filly was almost completly dry.
Nicole threw on a blanket over the filly, strapping the buckles and led Maddie back to her stall for the night. "Bye sweetie. I'll see you later." Nicole said, giving the filly a big hug and kiss goodbye.

"Good morning Maddie." Nicole said happily as she came down to the fillies stall.
Maddie whinnied a happy greeting as she saw Nicole, thrusting her head over the stall door and bobbing her head eagerly. "Yeah thats my girl. You hungry?" Nicole asked and Maddie bobbed her head again. "I'll be right back."
Going to the feed room, Nicole scooped out the fillies morning rations and adding the suppliments and nuturients the filly needed, carrying the feed back to the fillies stall and dumping it.
While Maddie ate her breakfast eagerly, Nicole cleaned the fillies water buckets and refilled them with cool clean water.
Once Maddie was done eating, Nicole led the thoroughbred out of her stall and into a set of crossties. "No paddocks today. It's raining pretty hard outside." Nicole told her as she went over Maddie's bay coat with a curry.
After giving Maddie a thorough grooming and placing a light sheet over the fillies back and buckling the straps, Nicole quickly clean out the fillies stall before leading Maddie back into her stall for the night.
