"Hey Bella." Alexa called, stopping outside the fillies stall. Bella threw her head over the stall door, snorting uneasily. "You don't like the rain, do you baby?" Alexa asked, rubbing the fillies face and scratching behind her ears. Buckling on the fillies halter, Alexa led the filly over to a set of crossties. The unhappy filly pranced in place uneasily. "It's okay Bella. The rain won't hurt you." Alexa crooned, offering the filly a carrot chunk. Bella looked at the treat then out the open doors at the other end of the barn, nostrills flarred. "Your such a baby." Alexa said, unable to help but laugh. Finally Bella took the treat and crunched on it while Alexa rubbed around the fillies body before going over her coat with a curry mit. "You still have alot to learn. You don't see your mommy or most of the other horses upset over the rain." Finally Alexa groomed the fillies coat to a shine, picked out her feet and the shavings from her tail and combed out her mane. "Lets go for a nice walk sweetie." Alexa said, snapping on the lead shank and led the filly outside under the canopy. Bella kept stopping to look arond and sniff at some damp plants and the ground. "See, it won't hurt you." After a nice walk around the barn, Alexa led the filly back to her stall, singing softly to the filly for a bit before giving her a big hug and kiss goodbye.

"Good morning Bella." Nicole said happily as she came down to the fillies stall. Bella whinnied a happy greeting as she saw Nicole, thrusting her head over the stall door and bobbing her head eagerly. "Yeah thats my girl. You hungry?" Nicole asked and Bella bobbed her head again. "I'll be right back." Going to the feed room, Nicole scooped out the fillies morning rations and adding the suppliments and nuturients the fillies needed, carrying the feed back to the fillies stall and dumping it. While Bella ate her breakfast eagerly, Nicole cleaned the fillies water buckets and refilled them with cool clean water. Once Bella was done eating, Nicole led the thoroughbred out of her stall and into a set of crossties. "No paddocks today. It's raining pretty hard outside." Nicole told her as she went over Bella's bay coat with a curry. After giving Bella a thorough grooming and placing a light sheet over the fillies back and buckling the straps, Nicole quickly clean out the fillies stall before leading Bella back into her stall for the night.
