"Hey Grand. Ready for some cross country riding?" Chad asked, buckling on the colts halter.
Grand threw up his head and pranced after Chad as he led the colt to a set of crossties. "It's gonna be a muddy ride. But I know you don't care."
Grand rolled his eyes and roughly pushed Chad.
Laughing, Chad quickly hooked a set of crossties to the colts halter.
Grabbing the curry comb and mit, Chad spent a long time currying the colts already clean coat. "Your gonna need a bath after this." Chad said as he curried the colts legs.
After currying Grand, Chad brushed off the colts chestnut coat and wrapped up his legs, threw on a saddle and bridle and led the colt off into the rain.

"Your filthy." Chad said, snapping Grand to a set of crossties to the wash stall.
Grand rolled his eyes and rubbed his head against Chad's back. "I don't think I can get much dirtier so go for it."
Untacking the colt, Chad put the colts tack into the tack room to be cleaned later. Grabbing the hose and putting on the warm water, Chad held the hose over the colts back. Grand snorted and dropped his head, enjoying the warm water rushing down his sides.
Once he was soaked, Chad grabbed a sponge with soap and went over the colts coat, scrubbing off the rest of the mud. "Your guys are so spoiled. You know that." Chad said, rinsing off the colts soapy coat.
Finally, Chad rubbed the colt down with towls and threw on a light sheet over his back and walked the colt around for a while before leading Grand back to his stall when he was just about fully dry.
"Bye Grand. I'll see you later buddy." Chad said, giving the colt a few carrot chunks before leaving to clean off the tack.

"Good morning Grand." Nicole said, going to the colts stall.
Grand popped his head over the stall door and whinnied happily, nuzzling Nicole when she reached out to throw her arms around his neck.
Grabbing the halter and lead shank, Nicole buckled on Grand's halter, snapped on the lead shank and led the colt out of his stall and out to the paddocks.

Grand pranced, nearly leaped out of his stall when Chad led the colt out of his stall.
"Easy there boy. The track isn't going anywhere." Firmly grabbing the lead, Chad led the excited colt over to a set of crossties.
Grand was ready to go, full of energy which will soon be unleashed onto the track.
"And today is your lucky day. You and Dawn are gonna breeze it out." Chad told the colt as he gave Grand a thorough grooming.
After grooming the colt, Chad tacked him up in the light exercise saddle, bridle and wrapped up his legs, leading the prancing colt out of the barn over to the track.

"Good morning Grand." Nicole said happily as she came down to the colts stall.
Grand whinnied a happy greeting as he saw Nicole, thrusting his head over the stall door and bobbing his head eagerly. "Yeah thats my boy. You hungry?" Nicole asked and Grand bobbed his head again. "I'll be right back."
Going to the feed room, Nicole scooped out the colts morning rations and adding the suppliments and nuturients the colt needed, carrying the feed back to the colts stall and dumping it.
While Grand ate his breakfast eagerly, Nicole cleaned the colts water buckets and refilled them with cool clean water.
Once Grand was done eating, Nicole led the thoroughbred out of his stall and into a set of crossties. "No paddocks today. It's raining pretty hard outside." Nicole told him as she went over Grand's chestnut coat with a curry.
After giving Grand a thorough grooming and placing a light sheet over the colts back and buckling the straps, Nicole quickly clean out the colts stall before leading Grand back into his stall for the night.
