I warm Midnight up by riding her through the basic figures like always, and then asking him for some flying lead changes. She's getting where she does them easily and quickly responds to my signal telling her that's what I want. It's tempting to move on to leg yeilds already, but I know it would be better if I waited until next week. She's such a beautiful mover, with so much natural grace and style. I have no doubts she'll be a beautiful dressage horse, although she doesn't have the endurance for three day eventing. We have a great lesson, and I give her alot of praise when we finish.
