"Hey there's my big handsome boy!" Mel called and let out a low, but recognizable whistle. Legacy snorted and thrust his head out over the stall door. Despite being a small barn, it had a roomy air about it that made it seem just right. Legacy craned his neck forwards, bumping Mel's shoulder. "Hey you big goon. Knock it off! I know, I know. You're antsy and want to get out for a run. But you just got here, take a few days and settle," while ranting on the the rather large chestnut horse, she was slipping his halter over his nose and ears, buckling it and clipping on his lead. Bringing him out of the stall. She made him stand quiet in the aisle, not bothering with crossties for once. Mel ran the soft brush over his vibrant red coat and quickly checked his feet with the pick before scratching his thick neck and taking him out to the paddock for some more down time.
