April rides Treasured Forever down the trails, the spirited chestnut colt full of tricks today. He spies a stone wall up ahead off the trails.
"Treasure don't you dare-" April warns. Too late though. The colt takes off and even though April's very firmly giving him the signal to stop and pulling back hard on the reins, Treasure loves jumping and decides he's going to take the jump anyway. April switches to the jumping position and keeps her seat as he sails over the wall. She has to admire what a brilliant jumper he is, but wishes he would listen better.
"treasure you're as stubborn as a mule," she scolds. Just then she hears another rider comming up.

Standing up in the stirrups, Nicole gently pulled back on the reins. War obediently dropped from a nice easy gallop to a canter than a smooth trot. Grinning, Nicole patted the stallions muscular neck, posting to the stallions long length trot. "You still think your a young race horse, don't you?" Nicole asked fondly. War snorted, bobbed his head as he slowed to a walk then stopped to nibble on some grass. Sitting back, Nicole thought back to the stallions years on the track. Now he was old, well not old but to old to race, but War was still full of speed and power. Pricking his ears, War picked up his head and gazed out toward the north west, nostrils large as he listened. "Lets go see who's over there." Nicole said, giving the stallion little encouragement to go forward.

Treasure tosses his head when he hears and smel;ls the other horse and rider as if saying "Another horse! Let's race! I can beat him!"
"Settle down," April tells the big colt fondly, stroking his neck. She smiles seeing whi it is.
"Hi Nic."

Once they neared the other horse and rider, War picked up his hooves and tried to break into a fast trot. "Easy War." Nicole warned him, keeping a firm hold on the reins. "Hey April!" Nicole called with a wide grin seeing who it was, letting War trot the last couple of paces.
