Storm's Revolution runs on SIM years. So every six months is one year -- January 1st and July 1st mark the start of a new year. This does not include humans. Your human characters can stay the same age forever, if you so wish, although we do generally like it when you age your character every once in a while, just to make it more realistic. On each horse's page their age will be listed as the SIM year they were born only. If you have moderator powers, you are free to change it to the horses age in numbers. We do this so that the admins and mods don't have to go through all of the horses changing their age every year. It's a giant pain.
Here's a list of how old horses born when would be (EFFECTIVE JULY 1ST!):
→2009/2 =Weanling
→2009/1 = Yearling
→2008/2 = 2 Years Old
→2008/1 = 3 Years Old
→2007/2 = 4 Years Old
→2007/1 = 5 Years Old
→2006/2 = 6 Years Old
→2006/1 = 7 Years Old
→2005/2 = 8 Years Old
→2005/1 = 9 Years Old
→2004/2 = 10 Years Old
→2004/1 = 11 Years Old
→2003/2 = 12 Years Old
→2003/1 = 13 Years Old
→2002/2 = 14 Years Old
→2002/1 = 15 Years Old
→2001/2 = 16 Years Old
→2001/1 = 17 Years Old
→2000/2 = 18 Years Old
→2000/1 = 19 Years Old
→1999/2 = 20 Years Old
